Rania Mussa is a project manager with UW Medicine Research IT. After earning her bachelor’s from Whitman college, Rania started working in the education sector. First with a non-profit that serves immigrant and refugee families to help close the achievement gap for k-12 students. Later on, she joined a start-up focused on using technology to transform how students read for a deeper comprehension. In her current role, she works with health researchers on innovative informatics driven projects to improve the health outcomes for patients. In her day-to-day she is driven by the desire to produce results and make an impact.
During her free time, Rania enjoys reading, learning new languages and picking up new skills in and outside the classroom. She loves the outdoors and from time to time indulges in the art of painting.
