Sliding Scale Tuition
OneWorld Now! charges class tuition on a sliding scale based on family size and income in order to make classes accessible to as many students as possible. We offer monthly, semesterly, and yearly payment plans to meet each family’s needs and preferences.

We request that families choose the highest amount that they can afford to help support other students who may need tuition assistance.
Tuition is the same for the World Language Track and the Global Citizen Track. Students who are in our Leadership Track pay 50% of World Language Track/Global Citizen Track tuition, as the program meets less frequently.
World Language Track & Global Citizen Track Tuition

Leadership Track Tuition
As Leadership meets less frequently than our language classes, students who enroll in Leadership but are not taking a language class will be charged lessened tuition on a sliding scale.

Deposit
A nonrefundable deposit of $10 is due after you register to save your spot in the class. This deposit is considered a first payment toward your tuition balance.
How to Pay
For the remainder of tuition, invoices will be sent through our Student Information System, Dreamclass. Invoices are generated on the 1st of each month.
Monthly payments are due on the 15th of each month, starting October 15th and ending May 15th. Semesterly payments are due on October 15th (Semester 1) and February 15th (Semester 2). Yearly payments are due on October 15th.

- Mail in a check to our office (PO Box 3263, Seattle, WA 98114)
- Make arrangements to drop off your payment in-person at our office in Beacon Hill, Seattle by emailing info@oneworldnow.org
Refund Policy
If a student decides to withdraw from OneWorld Now and completes a Drop Report, they may be eligible for a refund minus the $10 nonrefundable registration fee.
If a student drops the program without notifying OneWorld Now in writing, they will not receive a refund.
If a student is asked to leave the program for violation of OneWorld Now Policies or Community Agreements, they are ineligible to receive a refund.
If a student withdraws from OneWorld Now while still owing tuition payments, students are still responsible for paying the missing tuition. If paying the missing tuition presents a financial hardship, OneWorld Now staff are happy to work with the student to set up a payment plan or grant a tuition waiver.
For the purposes of calculating missing tuition, the drop date will be considered to be either the date that a drop form was submitted, or, if no drop form was submitted, the date of a student’s 4th consecutive absence, 8th total absence in a Language class, or 3rd consecutive absence in Leadership.

Months run from the 15th to the 14th, October 15th – June 14th; payments are due on the 15th of each month.

Example: Student pays 1 month of tuition on October 15th and submits a drop report on October 28th. They would receive a refund for ½ month (since they did not attend programming in the 2nd half of the month, November 1st-14th).
Example: Student pays 1 month of tuition on October 15th and submits a drop report on November 8th. They would not receive any refund for the month of October 15th – November 14th.
Semesterly payments are due on the 15th of October and February.

Missing Tuition

Frequently Asked Questions
Tuition for Language classes includes 3 hours of language class each week, access to Peer Tutoring program, and learning materials. In-person sessions include snacks and occasional field trips.
Tuition for Leadership includes 3 hours of experiential learning per month. The In-person Cohort also includes dinner. Leadership also includes planning for Get Global Conference in the spring.
The program runs from October to June, approximately 30 weeks excluding school holidays.
Study abroad is not included in the Afterschool Program tuition.
The suggested tuition amount is just that: a suggestion. If it doesn’t reflect your reality (medical costs, underemployment, children in college, supporting relatives, etc.), choose a lower amount. Try to pick an amount you can pay comfortably for the whole year, though if your circumstances change midway through the program, just contact us at info@oneworldnow.org, and we can adjust your tuition amount and/or payment plan.
